Carey Bridges has been interested in arts and crafts since she was a small child, influenced by her mom's love of crafts. Carey has dabbled in many crafts, including memory keeping throughout her teenage and college years. She began modern scrapbooking in 1999, when she wanted to preserve her
wedding and honeymoon memories, and has been addicted ever since.
In
2008, Carey ventured into digital scrapbooking and quickly came to love the
ease, portability and creative options that digital provides, especially
the undo button. While most of her creations are now digital, she still
remains enamored with paper scrapbooking and enjoys getting her hands inky.
Currently, Carey is a Creative Team member at Pixels and Company. Carey's
creations have been published in online and print magazines Scrapbook
News and Review, Creating Keepsakes, Scrap N Art, and Scrapstreet. Her
work has also been featured at The Daily Digi.
Carey resides in Missouri with her husband, son, dog, cat and fish. She is a geologist by day and a wife, mom and scrapbooker by
night.
